Kudana continues to excite audiences of all ages throughout the Pacific Northwest, appearing at the Northwest Folklife Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Light of Liberty Celebration, Saturday Market, and many other events.
We are also available for private parties, and can offer a set of traditional Zimbabwean mbira music as part of our performances.

Our ensemble consists of seven marimbas, guitar, mbira, drum kit, hand drums, hosho, two or three vocalists, and occasionally a horn player. We play a combination of traditional African songs, mostly from Zimbabwe, plus a handful of original compositions.
We need a minimum of about 15' x 15' to set up.
We can play acoustically in smaller spaces or amplified in larger venues. Note that even our acoustic setup is still quite loud!
